THIS☝🏻 is My Dad...

He has a lot of names cause He is SUPER OLD, He’s been around FOREVER Some people call Him “THE ANCIENT OF DAYS” But If you want to get technical, He’s without beginning or end So some people call Him the ALPHA and the OMEGA He once sent a guy on a mission to deliver a whole nation of people... Tell them “I AM” sent you. I think thats technically the most accurate Because HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN and HE ALWAYS WILL BE And we’ll come back to this one cause there is quite a bit more to it But Those people He saved had TONS of names for Him

1. ADONAI which means LORD, and HE IS

2. ELOHIM: Creator, mighty and strong, and HE IS

3. EL SHADDAI [el-shah-dahy]: “God Almighty,” “The Mighty One of Jacob

4. El ROI - The God who sees me, was what one woman called Him (TELL HAGAR’s Story)

5. Jehovah-Jireh: Provider

6. Jehovah-Rapha: Healer

7. Jehova-Nissi: The Lord our Banner because He is a MIGHTY WARRIOR, He is MIGHTY in battle.

8. Jehovah-SHALOM which is the Lord our peace

9. SO JEHOVAH is just another way of saying YAHWeh...

YAWWEH is God's only “PROPER” name

JESUS came out FROM YAHWEH He said that when we talk to Him we should say, “OUR FATHER.”

And this is my FAVOURITE THING about MY DAD HE WANTS TO BE DAD to everybody He wants US TO BE A FAMILY HE WANTS TO EVERYONE To know Him as ABBA FATHER

I remember My first time reading Romans 8:15

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the SPIRIT OF ADOPTION by whom we cry out, “ABBA FATHER”

HE WANTS US TO KNOW HIM AS FATHER So why not just be Father from the beginning? Why The SPIRIT OF ADOPTION? Why not just children from the onset? Why all this trouble, while all this suffering did GOD DO IT? Or did God sow Good seed (Parable) God WAS FATHER in the beginning, He did’t do this, He didn’t want to change the relationship, WE DID

Let’s prove it: Luke 3:23-38 The genealogy goes back to Adam who is called “The son of God”

Because of the fall we have come to see expressions of Him that were not originally intended FOR US

Matthew 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;'

not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels.

GODS NATURE NEVER CHANGED OUR NATURE CHANGED WE DIED SPIRITUALLY and took on the nature of a different spirit A VEIL DARKENED OUR UNDERSTANDING But HIS TRUE NATURE and will for us all was still shining through the veil EVEN IN THE PROPER NAMES given And this brings us back to MOSES, the guy sent on that mission People says Yahweh(and there is nothing wrong with that) but there is something AMAZING about the original language that is easily lost in the various transliterations (THE NAME WORKSHEET) PRAY “OUR FATHER” We can become so offended by unmet expectations and what we perceive as shortcomings in how God ministers His provision that we harden our hearts against how He is ministering His PRESENCE. JESUS, God WITH US, IMMANUEL, WAS PRESENT with BOTH of The THIEVES on the cross

1. One took offence because of misguided expectation

2. The other was not so presumptuous, and perceived HIS PRESENCE, and became in inheritor of eternal life. DO YO SEE THE DIFFERENCE? BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT... HE OWES US NOTHING, BUT GOD MET US HERE IF WE HAVE EYES TO SEE AND EARS TO HEAR HIM PHILLIP says what THE WHOLE WORLD is saying, “SHOW US THE FATHER AND THAT IS ENOGH FOR US” JESUS says, “Have I been with you so long, and you don’t yet know Me?” “FROM NOW ON YOU DO KNOW HIM, YOU HAVE SEEN HIM” Jesus had SHOWN the provision, the healing, the mercy and the LOVE AND NATURE of the FATHER all that time... but HE HAD ONE LAST TASK as a SON being PERFECTED IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS FATHER BLASPHEMY? Wasn’t Jesus perfect? Yes He was perfect and sinless, but HE IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, and HAVING HUMBLED HIMSELF AND TAKEN ON THE LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH,

THE BIBLE SAYS THIS: Hebrew 5:8-9

John 17:5 HE WAS BEING ABOUT TO BE GLORIFIED WITH THE GLORY HE HAD WITH GOD IN THE BEGINNING, and WAS NOW BEING PERFECTED ONCE AGAIN. HE WAS ABOUT TO SHOW THE WORLD EXACTLY WHO THE FATHER IS AND WHAT HE IS LIKE.

John 12:32 If I am lifted up... The Father was PERFECTLY REVEALED IN THE SON FOR ALL OF US THERE ARE THINGS THAT CAN STAND IN THE WAY OF KNOWING HIM AS FATHER that He wants to address Jilliana’s testimony: Dad in dream, pastor asking for forgiveness
